Meet the 2022 NFFA winners

Anthony Lyamunda from Tanzania, Libbe HaLevy from the USA, Cécile Lecomte from France and Malte Göttsche and Irmgard Gietl, both from Germany, were awarded the Nuclear Free Future Award last year. You can meet the award winners in a Zoom meeting.

There was no official NFFA ceremony in 2022 for various reasons. In the meantime, the Nuclear Free Future Foundation has decided to stop hosting the award itself and to focus on its work with the Uranium Atlas. Beyond Nuclear has decided to continue with the award. In a Zoom meeting, Beyond Nuclear invites you to meet three of the five 2022 awardees at a special online award ceremony: Friday, October 13 at 7pm German time. Please sign up to hear what uranium mining activist Anthony Lyamunda (Resistance category/Tanzania), anti-nuclear podcaster Libbe HaLevy ( Education category/USA), and nuclear policy researcher Malte Göttsche (Solutions category/Deutschland), have to say about their work. A special announcement about the 2023 Award event and winners will be made during the event.
