My work at the Nuclear-Free Future Award gives me the opportunity to do something against the propaganda of the Atomlobby. For me, to honor and help publicize the work of those struggling to keep the uranium in the earth in this David-against-Goliath fight is a source of profound reward. I believe that we as human beings have the intelligence and creativity to stop destroying the planet with toxic fuels, and are capable of prospering in sustainable balance with the spirt of nature. My work here at NFFA allows me to act on my beliefs, in the sense of: "Move your mind and your ass will follow."
